the littlest island

As the boat pulls away from the pier, my jet lag finally starting to fade, I wonder again, what in the hell am I doing out here? Well, another island awaits and who am I to question my wanderlust?

This morning, I left my room and scurried out before housekeeping banged on my door. Without any idea of what my day would hold, I hopped the commuter bus disguised as a grass hut on wheels, and rode down to the marina where the tour boats were waiting. 100 bucks later and I was on my way with the South Seas Island Cruise.

I must mention that the woman who sold me the trip became completely facinated with the fact that I was a single American woman on vacation alone. She has called my hotel 12 or 15 times since that day. She had my name. Lovely woman, but I don't know how to help her. And yes, I am certain she will call me another 12 times before I leave here.

The island approaches. See the postage stamp in the distance?

Wait. The stamp gets bigger. Then, you see bikinis and kayaks and bures and trees....

I'll show the bikinis on the next post. Maybe even some girls gone wild video??????
